NAV CENTRE to launch a full-service SPA Opening planned for spring 2012

NAV CENTRE, eastern Ontario’s largest conference venue, announced today that it will open a full-service spa in late spring of 2012.
The NAV CENTRE has reached an agreement with Linda Arsenault Graham’s “Esthetics by Linda”, a day spa which has been in business since 1986, to manage the daily operations of the new spa experience.
“Our objective is to create a contemporary, state-of-the-art health destination, a one-stop retreat for conference and leisure visitors alike,” says Kim Coe-Turner, General Manager of the NAV CENTRE.
The addition of a spa will complement a range of other recent service improvements offered by the conference centre, including newly renovated guest rooms and new dining options, as well as NAV FIT services such as yoga classes, exercise amenities and swimming facilities.
“Travellers today are savvy and have much higher expectations of property amenities,” adds Coe-Turner. “The addition of a full service spa to the NAV CENTRE will enhance the overall guest experience and help us meet or exceed those expectations.
“We are very pleased to be working with Esthetics by Linda, a well recognized name in the Spa business and in Cornwall. It’s part of our continued commitment to work with the community to make Cornwall a premier conference and leisure destination.”

NAV FIT: a new and improved fitness centre for Cornwall

Recent renovations at the NAV CENTRE's fitness centre, have transformed the facility into a more comfortable, functional centre for exercise and recreation.
Already featuring the region's broadest array of fitness equipment and sports facilities, the centre has been redesigned to better serve existing and new members' needs. The cardio theatre; renovated change rooms and showers; and new equipment are sure to inspire members to new heights.
New and improved amenities are not the only changes; the centre will also be sporting a new name and look. Formerly known as the Wellness Centre, the facility has been renamed NAV FIT.
NAV FIT offers swimming lessons for both children and adults and personal trainers are on staff to help members select the type of exercise program that suits their needs.
